Don't Ask Don't Tell

Hey It's jess and today's topic is about Gays in the Military

Many great men have died for this country to shape it into what it is today, However a great discrimination resides and in fact is encouraged within today's military. The Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy is the most blatant showing of prejudice practice enforced by those who find it hard to tolerate people different from them. The fact that the Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy is treated with such high standard, a Rule if you will; Says alot about how homophobic people are today. I ask you blogger what kind of hindrance could it pose on someone for having a different sexual orientation? The same kind of attitude is shown towards Atheist within the military, A famous quote that precedes within the Military is "There are no atheists in foxholes". Tolerance is a big issue in today's society but hopefully one day we can look past the differences and see the heroes that defended this great country.
